Port Aransas May, 2013
Thanks to Retta's name being drawn at the 2012 Buddy Walk, we won a 4 night trip to Port Aransas!
The prize was donated by the Hey family of San Antonio. We soon realized that the Hey's owned the Vet Clinic down the street....so Buzi now has a new Vet!
We invited the fam, dropped Buzi off at Dr. Hey's clinic and headed to the coast!
(Sorry Buzi, even Vet's don't allow pets at the beach house!)
The beach house was AMAZING!!!! Big enough for several families to spread out!
The first two days at the beach were overcast; but we still made the most of the water.
Here come the waves!
When it got a bit chilly; we wrapped Retta up in her after swim "robe" and Grandpa took Retta for a ride in the waves!
Literally, in the waves. Retta and her wagon almost got swept away!
But, she loved it!
And finally, on Saturday the sun came out to play!
Retta really went to town scooping and playing in the DRY sand!

Then knocked it over!
Back to the beach house!
The wagon came in handy! But, poor Retta fell asleep every stroll home...while sitting up right.
And all clean, hanging out with Jaja!
